Security Administrator greets and registers each visitor in and out of the visitor management system in accordance with EQT security guidelines and procedures; issues visitor badges, and directs them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains physical security of visitor registration area and associated telecommunications system. When applicable, assists with lobby and event security planning and supports emergency or incident response. This role reports to the Corporate Security Manager.
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.
Registers visitors in and out of the visitor management system.
Issues and collects visitor badges.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories - providing instructions.
Maintains visitor management system and other associated telecommunications systems by following manufacturer's instructions and company guidelines and procedures.
Daily audit and accountability of all EQT badges assigned to the visitor registration desk.
Perform a variety of security administrative and clerical tasks, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Provide and arrange security escorts.
Maintains EQT’s mass notification system.
Direct emergency responders.
Assist with Emergency or incident response.
Security planning for special events.
Assist with lobby security planning and protection against known threats.
Enforce access control and visitor management procedures.
Maintains and creates security incident reports.
Support Corporate Security Manager with intel research and analysis.
Development of security key performance indicators.
High school diploma.
Minimum 3 years security, military or law enforcement experience.
Hands-on experience with office equipment.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in all programs of Microsoft Office.
