EQT has an opportunity available for a 2018 Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern will work in the EQT HR Department located in the corporate headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This individual will be involved in several projects throughout the internship specifically related to HR areas such as compensation, benefits, talent acquisition and employee relations. (S)he will have the unique opportunity to work with multiple levels of the company and provide support in analyzing, developing and improving processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work individually, or as part of a team, to assist with HR related projects and processes and recommend improvements

  • Provide analytical support for the HR department on a broad range of topics

  • Interact with multiple levels of the organization

  • Develop and present results of analysis to senior management

 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data and assist in the development of recommendations

  • High degree of attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paces environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization

  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and be self-motivated

 

 Required Experience:

  • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, Business Management or a related discipline

  • Must have at least completed sophomore year at accredited 4-year degree program

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above
