EQT has a Midstream engineering internship opportunity available for the summer of 2018.
Duties vary depending on area of focus and may include:
Performing engineering and statistic functions related to the natural gas business
Providing support to the system modeling group, compiling and analyzing data for various studies, evaluating new and existing technologies to improve operations, and implementation of various projects
Developing pipeline system models and analyzing the effect on the gathering and transmission system
Developing process improvements, writing and compiling procedures and standards, and implement computer technology
Work with Gas Control, Operations, and Storage Engineering to optimize day-to-day system operations
Assist with capacity and deliverability studies related to underground storage assets
Students will be given two to three projects during the summer and will be expected to make an executive presentation at the end of the internship term.
Successful candidates must have completed a minimum of their freshman year in college pursuing a degree in Petroleum, Chemical or other engineering related field
Working knowledge of MS Office software; modeling and/or mapping experience a plus
Ability to apply basic engineering principles
Possess analytical and problem identification/resolution skills
Must have a 3.0 GPA or above
